Why did we create Alyx?
Mission 2024: to help a thousand people learn a new language.
Who we are
Alyx was born out of the personal needs that we, Raiza, Álvaro and Pedro, have to learn languages.
We believe that mastering a new language opens doors to a professional career and also provides a deeper connection with new cultures, contributing to personal growth. So we decided to devote our energies to using technology to help other people transform their lives.
However, personally, we had never had any success trying to learn through language learning apps. That's why, right from the start, we decided that the teacher would be at the center of everything we do.
Raiza speaks Portuguese, English and is currently learning French.
Pedro speaks Portuguese, English, French and is currently learning German.
Álvaro speaks English, French and is currently learning Italian. aprendendo italiano.
