The problem

What really holds your teams back is speaking

Your people can read English, write emails and follow a presentation. They get stuck when it is time to speak, live, in front of a client.

  • 01

    Speaking up

Speaking without preparation, finding the right words in real time and keeping up when the other person speeds up.

  • 02

    The vocabulary of the job

Generic apps do not teach the words of your calls, your meetings and your contracts.

  • 03

    Cultural codes

Negotiating, disagreeing, using humour, following up: every culture has its own rules, and they can be learnt.

A general English course prepares you to order a coffee. Your teams have to defend a price, resolve an incident or present a roadmap.

One path per profession

One organisation, several language training programmes

A salesperson, a support team and an engineer do not need the same words or the same situations. Alyx builds a separate learning path for each need, within the same organisation.

Personalised language training

Your teams learn the language by learning the business

Before the first session, we build in four elements of your context. They shape the study plan and every conversation.

  1. Your company culture

Your values, your way of working, your tone with customers.

  2. Your sector

Its terms, its stakeholders, its practices. Software is not sold the way industrial goods are.

  3. Your company's challenges

A new market, a team to integrate, a key account to serve in its own language.

  4. The challenges of each role

What each role needs to be able to say, and to whom.

Sample session

Negotiating a contract in English, with live correction

A sales manager at a software company practises with the AI Teacher, who plays a client's head of procurement. Every mistake is corrected during the conversation, without interrupting it.

AI TeacherRole: the client's head of procurement
Live correction

Scenario: negotiating a contract renewalLevel B1-B2 · English

AI Teacher · head of procurement

Thanks for joining. I'll be direct: your renewal proposal is 12% above what we paid last year. Our budget for next year is flat. Why should we accept this increase?

You · voice message
Correction

“I understand your position, and I am agree I agree the increase is significant. …”

Explanation

Better phrasing “I agree the increase is significant, and I'd like to explain what's behind it.”

In English, “agree” is a verb, not an adjective, so “I am agree” is incorrect. It is a common mistake for French speakers, carried over from “je suis d'accord”.

AI Teacher

That's a fair point. Still, I can't go back to finance with 12%. What flexibility do you have?

You · voice message
Correction

“If you sign for two years, we can eventually potentially reduce the increase to 7%.”

Explanation

Better phrasing “If you commit to a two-year contract, we could bring the increase down to 7%.”

“Eventually” means “in the end” or “ultimately”, not “possibly” like the French “éventuellement”. It is a common false friend for French speakers: here, it suggests the reduction will come later, not that it is possible.

Method

Every session is a conversation

Speaking time comes first. Your teams speak from the very first session.

  1. A real situation from the job

A client call, a meeting, a demo: every lesson starts from your day-to-day work.

  2. Talking with the AI Teacher

The learner speaks; the AI Teacher replies and follows up like a real counterpart.

  3. Real-time correction

Pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary are corrected during the conversation.

Illustrative conversation. In Alyx, the scenario draws on your product, your clients and your real objections.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about corporate language training

Alyx is a French AI-powered corporate language training app. Each employee follows a learning path built for their profession (sales, customer support, engineering, management), in business English or another language, and practises speaking with an AI Teacher that corrects them in real time. A teacher follows every learning path, and HR tracks results on a 100% measurable dashboard. Six languages are available: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Brazilian Portuguese.

Alyx does not teach a general language. Each learning path is built for a specific profession, with the vocabulary, situations and counterparts of that profession. Most of the time is spent speaking, with real-time correction and the support of a teacher.

Yes. That is the principle behind Alyx: one learning path per need. Your sales, support and management teams can follow different programmes, in different languages, all managed from a single dashboard.

English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Brazilian Portuguese, from A1 to C2.

It depends on the starting level, the goal and the chosen pace. We define it with you during the scoping workshop. As a guide, a learning path lasts 3 to 6 months.

In four steps: a role-scoping workshop, building the learning paths for each role, launching the teams, then monitoring and adjustment. The first conversations can start within 4 weeks.

Through a real-time dashboard: active learners, practice time, scores, progress by skill, and analysis of mistakes and strengths. Data is available by person, by team and by learning path, with a report ready to share.

Data is hosted and processed in France, in compliance with the GDPR. Alyx is a French provider.

Not at the moment. OPCOs are the French bodies that fund employee training. Alyx is a learning app, not a training provider, so the subscription is not eligible for OPCO funding. We are preparing for Qualiopi certification (the French quality standard for training providers) so that we can offer, alongside the app, a fuller training programme with classes led by Alyx teachers.

Yes, on request. Alyx can integrate with your internal tools and your LMS: each project is assessed and approved individually, based on your technical environment.
